Ford F-150 and Super Duty: tailgate cable may break
30,123 vehicles: 2026 to 2027 F-150 and 2026 F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty. Under some heavy loads the left tailgate support cable can fail, and the open tailgate can drop onto the rear bumper, which can hurt someone standing nearby. Dealers will replace the left cable. Ford plans interim letters on December 14, 2026 and a second letter when parts are ready, expected in January 2027. Until then, avoid putting heavy loads on the open tailgate. NHTSA 26V689
Dodge Durango: tail lights may go dark
13,330 vehicles: 2026 Durango. Damaged terminals in the tail light wiring can make the tail lights stop working, so drivers behind you may not see the SUV. Dealers will inspect the tail lights and replace them as needed. Owner letters are expected December 3, 2026. Walk around the car with the lights on and check that both tail lights work. NHTSA 26V701
Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid and Corsair Hybrid: sudden shift to neutral
11,623 vehicles: 2026 to 2027 Nautilus Hybrid and 2027 Corsair Hybrid. Corrosion on the circuit board of the park lock actuator can shift the vehicle into neutral while driving, which means a sudden loss of drive power. Dealers will replace the integrated park module. Interim letters go out from November 2, 2026, with a second letter when the repair is available. NHTSA 26V688
Koenigsegg CC850: parking brake
7 vehicles: 2025 to 2026 CC850. The electronic parking brake may not engage properly in reverse, so the car can roll. The fix is a software update, over the air or at a dealer. Owner letters are expected October 29, 2026. NHTSA 26V694
