Converter

mpg (US) and L/100 km convert by one formula: L/100 km = 235.215 ÷ mpg.

How it works

Fuel economy is distance divided by fuel used. L/100 km turns it around: fuel used for every 100 km.

Go from full tank to full tank. A partial fill-up says how much fuel you added, not how much the car burned.

One tank gives a rough number. The average over several tanks is closer to the truth, and that is what Badger works out from your log.
